About

Short story:

  • I’m an acupuncturist
  • I have a Master of Science degree in Oriental medicine, 1999

Longer story:

I had a lot of health issues when I started acupuncture school.  I had been written off my numerous medical doctors and told I would have to learn to live with the pain of neuritis, thoracic outlet and inflammation in numerous places on my arms.  This was in 1995 and was caused by a repetitive stress injury.

I was not will to accept permanent pain.  I started to look for natural remedies.

I spent three years in acupuncture school, getting a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine.  I learned about acupuncture and Chinese herbs and how they can treat so many ailments.

By the time I graduated, in 1999, most of my health issues were gone and I felt better than I had in years.  This was in spite of the fact that school was very stressful and I was in school 30 hours per week, including Saturdays.

My goal in life is to help people understand Chinese medicine and how it can help them.  There is no reason to accept illness.  If someone tells you that you cannot get better, assume he/she does not know anything about Chinese medicine or Acupuncture.
